A shop apron that takes the weight off your neck
The straps cross between your shoulder blades and buckle at your hips, so a pocket full of tools pulls on your back, not your neck.

Why every Merewether strap is riveted by hand
I set every rivet by hand on a press that came out of an old saddlery in Maitland. Eight in every apron. Hang off a strap as hard as you like and it will not move.

The cross-back straps are the reason I bought it. Eight hours at the wheel and no sore neck. Clay washes out of the canvas with a hose.

Fits me at 190 cm with room left on the buckles. The rivets have not budged after a year of chisels in the pockets.

Long on me, as you would expect at 158 cm, but the straps take it up enough. The black hides coffee.
