Care
Wash cold, inside out, and hang to dry. Skip the dryer: heat sets creases and shrinks duck. For a showerproof finish, rub in canvas wax and set it with a hair dryer. Full care guide
Find your waist and leg in the Wickham double-knee
Measure around your waist where you wear your belt, and your inside leg from the crotch to the floor, in bare feet. We match both to the trousers themselves.

Work trousers built for a day on your knees
The double knee takes the scuffing and holds a pad where your knee lands. The rule pocket sits where your hand falls, and the hammer loop swings clear of the bench.

Why the Wickham knees are doubled and riveted
I spent eighteen years kneeling on steel decks in the shipyards, and I wore through a pair of trousers every couple of months. So the knees on these are doubled, riveted and open at the top for pads. That is the whole reason Graft exists.

I spend half my day on my knees. The double knee with pads in it has saved them, and the hammer loop actually holds a hammer.

A bit roomy in the seat for me, but that is the point of work trousers. Broke in after about three weeks.

Finally a 34 leg that reaches my boots. I have three pairs now and the oldest has had one knee re-done, free.

Tough enough for set builds and they do not look like costume. The black has faded to a nice charcoal.

Questions about the Wickham double-knee trousers
Which knee pads fit?
Our foam pads, and most flat pads up to 20 mm thick and 15 cm wide. The double knee opens at the top so pads slide in and out.
Can I take them up?
Yes. Send them back for free hemming in your first 30 days, or any tailor can take them up. There is 2 cm of hem to let down too.
Do they shrink?
Less than 2% in a cold wash. They are washed once at the factory before they are sold.
How do free repairs work?
Book a repair online and we post you a paper satchel. Post it back free, and it comes home patched, darned or re-riveted in about eight working days, for as long as you own it.
What if the size is wrong?
Exchange it free within 60 days, posted both ways, even after a few days of wear.
