About Linnet linen bedding
Linnet bedding starts as fibre flax grown by the Lefèvre family near Fécamp, on the chalk plateau of the Pays de Caux in Normandy, where cool, damp summers grow the longest, finest flax. It is retted in the field, spun and woven at the Ferraz mill near Guimarães in northern Portugal, then cut, sewn and stonewashed twice with Taupō pumice in our Grey Lynn studio.
Choose a duvet cover and a sheet set to make the whole bed, 10% less together, and add pillowcases in a second colour for the European pillows behind. The waffle blanket goes on top in winter and on its own on a summer night. Every piece comes in single, double, queen, king and super king, or standard and European for pillowcases, and ships from Auckland to New Zealand and Australia.
Questions about choosing linen bedding
What size duvet cover do I need for a queen bed?
A queen duvet cover is 210 × 210 cm and fits a standard queen duvet inner. If your inner is larger, or you like more overhang, go up to king at 245 × 210 cm.
Can I mix colours?
Yes, all five colours are dyed to sit together. Our pairings on Make the bed are a good place to start: Estuary with Salt, Clay with Flax, Basalt with Flax.
Which fitted sheet depth do I need?
Measure your mattress with any topper on it. Up to 35 cm, choose standard. From 35 to 45 cm, choose deep, which is $30 more.
Do pillowcases come with the sheet set?
Yes, two standard pillowcases. Buy European pillowcases separately for square pillows behind.
