160 × 230 cm ready to ship, leaving the workshop within five working days. Made-to-order sizes take about 8 weeks. Every rug is delivered free across Australia, rolled and wrapped in cotton.

Questions about Buttongrass
How long does Buttongrass take to make?
About 8 weeks from your order. The 160 × 230 cm size is kept ready to ship and leaves within five working days.
Will my rug look exactly like the photographs?
Close, but never exactly. Plant dyes shift a little from pot to pot, so the colour bands, and the placement of any flecks, differ slightly on every rug.
Is it reversible?
Yes. Buttongrass is woven the same on both faces, so turn it over every few months and it wears evenly.
Can I have a different size or colour?
Yes. Any of our rugs can be made from 60 to 400 cm either way, in up to three of our twelve plant dyes. The custom rug page shows the price as you choose.
Do I need an underlay?
On a hard floor, yes. The felt underlay is cut to the size of your rug, stops it moving and adds cushioning.
